Established in 2013, Yatai Building Materials Research & Development Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Center’) is a technology research and development center that combines building materials product research & development, technical development, technical consulting and technical extension service together.
The Center has successfully researched and developed products such as oil well cement, special low alkali road cement for airport and high-speed rail, cement for dam, moderate heat nuclear power cement and pervious concrete based on its tests and researches of the past years and by closely relying on four provincial level technology centers, namely Yatai Harbin Cement Technology Center, Yatai Shuangyang Cement Technology Center, Yatai Mingcheng Cement Welding Center and Shenyang Building Materials Technology Center affiliated to Yatai Group, as well as provincial level laboratories such as Yatai Shuangyang Laboratory and Shenyang Commercial Concrete Laboratory plus the professional technical force from scientific research universities and colleges in this area. These products have been widely applied in Daqing Oilfield, Changchun Longjia International Airport, Harbin-Dalian High-speed Rail, subways in the three northeast provinces of China, and east-to-west water transfer project in Liaoning Province.
