On the beautiful autumn days, it is cool and the air is filled with the fragrance of fruits. At 8:00a.m on September 16, 2017, the 7th Employees’ Sports Meeting of Yatai Group was grandly opened at Changchun Stadium. 5,717 employees from 105 enterprises of the group attended the sports meeting on behalf of 26,000 Yatai people. Provincial, municipal and district leaders, group company partners, suppliers, financial institutions and other guests from all walks of life attended the games. China Enterprise Confederation, China Enterprise Directors Association and other units and CEO of Ireland CRH – a world's top 500 enterprise Mr. Albert sent a letter of congratulation.

75 teams and 1,978 athletes participated in 61 competitions including field competition, track competition and fun competition. The athletes at sports field courageously took the lead in the competition, and the audience at the stand were screaming and cheering.

The Sports Meeting was also broadcast on Internet so that the employees, their families and people from all walks of life who didn’t be present at the meeting could watch the games through the network. The webcast has over 1 million viewers.

The highlight of this Sports Meeting is a long-distance race team composed of 110 middle-level executives and 60 youth key players who were born in 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s of the Yatai Group. They completed the 5,000-meter long-distance race under the leadership of Chairman and President Song Shanglong and pushed the atmosphere of the meeting to the climax, to show the audience the vitality of Yatai Group executives and the backbone. The 5,000-meter long run of the senior and intermediate- rank management team of Yatai Group has become the traditional project of the group companies. It was originated from the monthly seminar of general manager organized by the group company since 2008. In the past 9 years, over 110 terms have been held regardless of the season and climate, and running mileage has reached 681 km, and the accumulated distance of all man-times has exceeded more than 90,000 kilometers, equivalent to two times of diameters of the earth. This arouses the passion of the majority of employees to be involved in fitness. Yatai Group always adheres to the "people-oriented" business philosophy, and cultivates talents integrated with "fitness, intelligence, skills". It has formed a highly capable and efficient management team. Now it owns 3 academicians, 3 Yangtze River scholars, 4 experts enjoying State Council special allowance, 60 PhDs, 206 masters and 3,985 undergraduates. In 2017, Yatai Group also launched the "6789 Talents Project", which included young employees in key positions and key positions such as management backbone, high-skilled personnel, technical backbone, marketing backbone and production backbone into the "6789 Talent Pool".
